GANA aims on suggesting solutions to problems recognized in the cannabis industry through blockchain and AI technology.
As stated in GANA project #1, the cannabis legalization brought new opportunities and needs to the market.
The cannabis industry is very unique. It has been existing in the dark market for a long time and just recently started showing its bright side to the world.
Many researches have witnessed the good effects of its CBD components to reduce pain and symptoms of serious illness. Many Asian countries still treat cannabis as a drug but in America and Europe people recognize it much less seriously. In legalized states such as California it is recognized almost even better than alcohol.
Sooner or later, we believe that its medical potential will be recognized by many more countries. GANA aims on becoming one of its first runners to implement the blockchain technology to solve some existing problems.
Despite the legalization, yet, illegal growers tend to add hazardous substances to buds to increase weight or create better effects using chemicals. It is hard for consumers to receive a reliable information on what kind of product they are consuming.
In the U.S, growers and some dispensaries have cash problems because it is very hard for them to use banks. Cannabis is not legalized in the federal level, accordingly, cannabis business owners cannot work with banks very easily.
These problems were recognized by the industry experts and we, GANA, suggested a solution using the blockchain and artificial intelligence technology.
The cash problem can be solved by the payment system using the GANA tokens. The product scanning technology provides information on product components and leads to activity and product recommendation.
The readopted regulations for cannabis manufacturing by the CDPH (California Department of Public Health) stated that proper information on product ingredients must be disclosed to consumers. [refer to §40408.
